Contemporary Canadian Fiction
My research focuses on contemporary fiction, film and graphic novels by writers and visual artists from Atlantic Canada. I have published essays on various themes including consumerism, the road narrative and, most recently, the environment and climate change. Some of my research on fiction has focused on short stories, and I am particularly interested in exploring the unique aesthetic features and themes of contemporary short fiction.
